Every year around this time, we perform a wardrobe exodus of everything winter-related and shove our heaviest knits and wools to the back of our closets. In their place, we hang our prettiest, most warm weather-worthy duds to get ourselves pumped for the season ahead, and this year there's one trend that's got us more excited than all the rest: florals. From Carven to Mary Katranzou and Topshop, the spring runways were in full bloom, showcasing poppy mini dresses, printed jackets, and even footwear. For the work/school week, layer a flowery crop top—yes, they can be classroom-appropriate—over a crisp oxford paired with a fit-and-flare skirt and brogues. Or, if you've grown tired of the basic prom fashions, try wearing a T-shirt underneath a strapless printed party dress for the ultimate in floral formalwear
